Hello Uwek, well I can't answer you exactly, I imagine that they store signal flags and other things like rifles, candles for lanterns, etc. It is also not certain that the ST had these booths. Artesania Latina includes them in its model and I have noticed those from Montañes.

I saw them today at a market and I couldn't resist.

From left to right: Duke of Wellington, his great friend Bonaparte, Sir Horatio Nelson, a lieutenant in the French Navy and an artillery sergeant in the Spanish Navy.
These last two are of unknown name.

The carronade and two of the figures came in a cannon kit from Artesania Latina.
The Vice Admiral Nelson figure is from Andrea Miniatures.
