See, this, and any other model kit, is solely produced to be sold at a profit. Probably more than half of the sold ones will never get even started, and of those who do, something like 3 out of 4 will never get finished, in whatever condition and build quality. The bigger and the more expensive the kit, even less of them ever will be build or finished. It's like: "it's big, it's new, it's expensive, it's useless but talked about, so I totally want it"! But if you don't like it, for whatever reason, nothing and nobody can oblige you to buy one. You're totally free to say 'NO' to it, and that's all. And there is also no point criticizing some details of the model to justify your choice.
