The Pilar is Ernest Hemmingway's boat, named after is second wife Pauline. The model is aimed at beginners, and I made it in the spring of 2020. This was my first model after finishing the Amerigo Vespucci, and I was wondering whether I could still enjoy building smaller models. As an experiment, I decided to aim for a bit more speed and a bit less perfectionism. In retrospect, I'm proud of the result and I enjoyed the process. Also, I forgot to make pictures during the construction of the frame and the first planking, so the images start when I'm applying the second planking. I also made an unboxing video. Enjoy!

By the way, is it customary to add 'completed build' after the title of the thread? After the model is finished, I mean, of course ;-) I'd like to stick to the naming conventions.

Yes, we edit the title as 'completed build' once the model built and finished. It just makes common sense and makes the search easier.
