To quote Lawrence of Arabia....... “The trick, is not minding that it hurts.”I thank Providence that no further legal action (and therefore, torment) is required and that you will be spared that ration of Poo.
I continue to pray for your well-being and recovery. I admire your positive, if stoic, attitude, your courage and tenacity.
Hang in there, bro. Youve got a whole cheering section here on SoS actively invested in your recovery!
Pete
Likewise.Glad to hear some good news for you. May you continue to improve and receive more blessings.
Good morning!
Hello my friend, thank you for the prompt and interest.Ahoy!! And how are you doing old chap?
I couldn't agree more or have said it any better! The most remarkable thing about this post is that your optimism has returned. You have successfully moved on from a very dark place. Your courage and determination is wonderful.
Congratulations!!
Roger
That’s very good news! Hopefully the physio got you stable on both legs.Hello my friend, thank you for the prompt and interest.
Today I collected my first (all mine) prosthetic leg, which after a few minor tweeks, fitted comfortably.
Physio, in a few days, will oversee my competence at properly attaching the limb.
It's very basic none articulating device, however it is fitted with a 'trigger', which unlocks the 'knee' for sitting.
Finally, Pugwash has his PEG LEG!
Now I have to learn how to get the most out of it and am tentatively anticipating the process with excitement.
I'll ask 'Mel' the physio, to photograph me, so I can share with you.
Just make sure the children are safely in bed and any loose animals are tethered!
Watch this space (you'll think there's a Circus; in town!
