Due to the small size of the gunport the gun could not be loaded, so it should be pushed back so much, that the gun would be completely inside and could be loaded, so somehow minimum 50cm inside the wall, so that the canonball could be lifted into the muzzle......

You are absolutely right!
But here the guns and gun carriages are wrong. Therefore, in order for everything to work, it is necessary to make completely new ones, but they no longer fit here physically - that is why it is necessary to redesign the whole ship and so on. So I went the easy way and squeezed those that are in the drawings of the kit ....
These were "flowers", but the next video will be with "berries" - you will like the next 2 guns on "hybrid" gun carriages - I look at them and cry...)))

@Uwe This is a Russian expression where you want to say that one is better than another one. In this case, Olga said that the first guns compared to the next two you can tolerate as they look better.

What happened to your horse Olha?
I have a "lend-lease" Appaloosa mare, I can ride her as much as I like at very low costs, so I can invest in training hours.
Not easy to handle, so her owner does not ride her. But we are making good progress.
Beautyful hobby (one of many) at the cost of ship modelling. ;)

I am now on vacation in my homeland now - my horse recognized me. He jumped the fence and ran to me - I thought it was only shown in the movies, but my horse did it! Of course, I taught him to jump and together we performed quite well in competitions, but he had never jumped a 1.6 m fence before...
 
I for one am very happy to see the photographs - without the pics, I would see nothing! Beautiful work Olha on a most interesting subject!
