I’ve been building model kits for 35 years and now have a collection of primarily unstarted, very high end models from Lauck St., The Lumberyard, and BlueJacket that I’ve decided to sell. I’m also selling a set of William Romero’s HMS Warrior practicums. Having been retired for 15 years there is just no way that I will get around to building these! HMS Kingfisher (started).
Three years ago I had a shelf collapse at about 8’ above a concrete floor. My in-progress Kingfisher fell. I had completed all the ribs, however about a dozen were damaged in the fall. The keel assembly also snapped and the building jig disassembled itself. Other than that, I believe that kit is complete and in good condition. Looking for best offers to take over this build. Also included are Volumes 1 and 2 of David Antscherl’s books on building HM Swan Class models which are invaluable in completing this beautiful ship. These are out of print and cost well over $100 for each volume if you can find them.
