The doweling is #72 on the drill gauge if I remember correctly making them sure took a toll on my fingers.

Making figures. Although this figure is on a 1:16th scale it is the same procedure as for 1:72 scale. Using an xacto # 11 I cut off heads and limbs and glue them back into the position that you are trying to achieve.

After gluing the limbs and heads back on I under painted the figures with an acrylic flat paint.

You may notice that the figures are painted a little brightly. I did this so they wouldn't get lost in all the rigging. Speaking of figures they are all modified to fit in with what they are doing on board. The officers had uniforms(which they had to purchase themselves) The ordinary sailor could where what he liked as there was no standard uniform for them in that era.
