With your model being a snow, I am interested to see what is recommended as well. Everyone has favorites. My personal go-to books are James Lees' The Masting and Rigging English Ships of War 1625-1860 and David Steel's book The Elements of Rigging and Seamanship. Steel's 1794 three hundred page work is a free download. These two are far more comprehensive than any others that I have used including Petersson and Zu Mondfeld works, but you may be better off researching for contemporary plans and rigging warrants to see if any apply specifically to a snow.
