Trying to find the plans for a ropewalk made of metal. They were lost when my hard drive crashed. No idea where I got them. It must have been ten or more years ago.

Put your harddrive in the freezer, it will work for a while after. Maybe enough time to get your files safe.

The drive that crashed was a solid-state drive that crashed due to a dodgy power supply on the computer (said computer has been replaced.) Of course the drive had not been backed up. Just want to know if anyone has ever heard of the ropewalk plans I mentioned.

You can get Geek Squad to pull HD from old dead computer and hook it up to replacement.

Just because the computer died, doesn't mean you have lost all files on HD.

The machine is simple to make from scratch, you just need a set of gears.

I just searched the web for a minute.

Hi All

Is there a person out thier (probably less than 17 years old) (which precludes most of us on this forum I'm guessing) who has the technical ability to produce these into 3D printable drawings. I believe they're called stl files?
