The green center section apears to be a housing for a swing up keel board to help with stablity in cross winds.Hi
This is my modified model for static display based on Arthur Ransoms boat which is housed in the Ruskin museum in Coniston. It’s not finished yet but not far off.

Hi, I used a standard plank benderReally useful and informative thread, thank you. Have just started my 1:6 scale clinker build and it will be my first plank on frame boat. Is there a link to the plank bending with SMD torch threat you mentioned? Have looked but can't find it and the plank bending is the part I have the most trepidation about.
