For sale Royal Caroline

Do you build ships for museums? This is one which would deserve to be on display to the public.

Did you carve the decorations on the hull? Unbelievably beautiful. How long did it take you to build the ship?

Is this scratch built or from a kit? If kit by what company?

Oh Ho !!!!
first of all, before I start to praise your model, I would like to send a warm welcome here on board of our forum.

you are showing here a wonderful build model, high quality and accuracy - great details, very good overall appearance - just a very very good model
f.e. I like the way you show the hull planking treenailing - but also the painting and the ornaments, the rigging - very good work

You posted these photo in the "selling area" - is this correct?
Maybe you tell us a little bit more about scale, scratch or kit basis, materials etc etc etc. ??

L'amico Balestrieri costruisce tutto in laboratorio, non c'è niente Frank Kit e accessori.

The scale is 1:50 I don't use any kit. Everything is handmade. Plans were bought at National Maritime Museum and carving drawings at Siohjstoriska museet in Stockolm

No, I don't build ships for museum, but if I find a buyer I sell it.
Yes I carved decorations on the hull. It took me about 7 years of work, because I spent a lot of time for drawing masting and rigging (based on James Lees)

that sure belongs in a museum or in a place of honor - very well done!

unbelievably good !!!

faultless, it could be the original full size ship if it wasn't for the display case.
