I search the forums for Jig and no results appear so I am wonder where can purchase a jig for medium to large wooden ships.. and I suppose the answer from 9/10 people will be build your own?

no - there are different jigs available, but it really depends what the jig shall do?
Are you planing to build POB (plank on bulkheads) models ?

Hey guys, need your help finding a good building jig

I am in search of a very sturdy building jig for my 1:200 & 1:350 ships. The jig needs to have the ability to adjust length and tilt both ways. The ones available are cheap and don't have enough stability to hold enough weight to be useful. What are you guys using to build large kits? TIA! Jim

Yes but I am just making the transition to wood kits from plastic... I bought a kit from Artesania Latina is the Belem @1/75 scale.
It does have planking and looking for something to square bulkheads etc.

I purchased something called a professional building slip from Hobbyzone:

I noticed that Billings has a slip as well. If you type in building slip on the GreatHobbies website, you should see it. It's not quite the same as the one I have shown, but I would imagine it works as well maybe?
 
I think you have Lego in Canada?
You could use Lego-bricks to get the bulkheads square.
 
Van, that's funny. My dog leave pieces of her kibble on the rug and I don't find them until I step on them. That hurts too. Getting to Mahenki's problem, why don't you just use some metal blocks or pieces of square 2 x 4's? They work great keeping the frames or bulkheads straight with the keel. Lots cheaper too. Do not use clamps. They can slip. Stand the keel upright, attach the bulkheads and use a square block on either side of it, left and right and wait for the glue to harden and go on to the next bulkhead. You must be sure the blocks are cut squarely and the bulkheads will be perfect.
