The photos I see of them are rather nice, far nicer then 80% of wooden kits costing under 100$. But I have a serious question on them.
How do they deal with model ship droop like plastic kits? Back in the 1990s, I went through a series of how to build model ship kits, and the most often thing commented on plastic was that after a while the material will start to droop, yards, masts, etc.
What has me curious is how well do these paper ships hold up? The standard options is paper masts and yards, but they sell wood upgrade kits for masting and just how well can a piece of paper hold up when plastic with a better strength ratio cant?
