Soleil Royal Ornaments and figurines for 3d print

The figurines are beautiful, I must admit. However, in my opinion, the painting is done incorrectly. There is no wash, no emphasized shadows and half-shadows. Just a layer of paint sprayed on and that's it...
I would like to emphasize that this is my opinion, perhaps an isolated one, but that is my impression.

He need just apply a thick layer of black wash, remove it gently, then reapply target color, and again very gently "dry" wash, and the effect will appear by itself. Effect of antique gold.

Thank you. I'm not interested at the moment. Besides, this sculpture doesn't fit my version of Soleil Royal. What's more, the stern consists of many more sculptures that have to match each other. Buying one or two sculptures won't speed up my work because I have to modify them to fit my design anyway.

Wiem kuba, wiem.

The Soleil Royal is on top of my list and it would be great to have 3D printed parts instead of the kit provided. Unfortunately I don’t have 3D printer and I have no time at the moment to get into this field.
Maybe when I get closer to buying the model, I can devote more time to a new hobby.

Cyesiek, I think SeasModel wants to show off his 3D model and not his talent as a painter. I am interested in his Soleil Royal parts since I can see what I get and not what I could get, if I invest uncountable hours of painting, like your viking.

The designer doesn't have to be a great painter. He gives customers the opportunity to express their own skills. The tricky part is that a couple of random ornaments won't help you build the Soleil Royal. Designing a figurehead or other ornaments is not so complicated. The hard part is getting all the parts to fit together as a system. They also need to fit the rest of the ship and the planking. Without a ship to base them on, they're just pretty miniatures. With the Soleil Royal, the problem is that there are no actual historic plans of the ship.. For now, we only have imaginary kits that resemble(poorly) the Tanneron model and the recent creation of Artesania, which is more accurate. However, it could be much more accurate, but perhaps it was changed on purpose for legal reasons (but that's just my speculation).

Much as I like Tanneron's Soleil Royal, it is not his only model. He has also made a much less historically questionable model of Le Brilliant, a 64-gun ship representing the closed boutelies style of the First Marine or 120-gun ship L'Ocean
