Soleil Royal Ornaments and figurines for 3d print

The figurines are beautiful, I must admit. However, in my opinion, the painting is done incorrectly. There is no wash, no emphasized shadows and half-shadows. Just a layer of paint sprayed on and that's it...
I would like to emphasize that this is my opinion, perhaps an isolated one, but that is my impression.
 
He need just apply a thick layer of black wash, remove it gently, then reapply target color, and again very gently "dry" wash, and the effect will appear by itself. Effect of antique gold.
 
Thank you. I'm not interested at the moment. Besides, this sculpture doesn't fit my version of Soleil Royal. What's more, the stern consists of many more sculptures that have to match each other. Buying one or two sculptures won't speed up my work because I have to modify them to fit my design anyway.
