Looking very nice. I do find it a little odd that so many Finley detailed fittings are added prior to the hull being planked. Is this the order of construction that Billings has recommend for this kit?

That's was my thinking I thought I would have a go at the bow it's my fault for not reading the instructions correctly however everything is quite well glued down (I hope}

I finally got to the point where I can start planking the first parts are at the stern it looks a bit messy that will be sorted at the end and the the first large side piece at the stern on the port side and painted before being attached

A four month lapse since that last post on the build progress... I'm hoping the OP is okay, and merely taking a summer break.
