Trouble with emojis

I’ve noticed that for the last few months when I add emojis to a post on a mobile platform, the site automatically adds a carriage return to the front of it, which I can only remove by logging into the site from my desktop and editing my post. Has anyone else been experiencing that?

worked on my iphone.
except it doesn't like apple emojis. I have to use the forums based ones.

Only the forum emojies work properly on the forum

I can use keyboard based emojis.

I just figured out that if I select site emojis from the top menu things work fine but if I type in the text and select the emoji that shows up
it adds a carriage return.
