Welcome on board my friend. Happy new year.Just found your build mtbediz1. Wow! Such great detail on the windows and stern. Beautiful.
Happy new year to you and your family too Peter.#Mr. Deep is the SOS ID for a Russian gentleman doing a scratch built late 19thc. Russian frigate of substantial size and complexity, as is your Constitution.
His build log and perseverance remind me of you, as does the high quality of his work. Well worth a look!
All the best in the new Year. I look forward to your progress!
Pete
Hi Marc, as you know, I am making everything from scratch, so the measurements on my model may not be exactly the same as yours, but I guess they are very close. Tomorrow I will draw a sketch showing the dimensions of the gallery windows in my model and send it to you. Happy new year!Dear Mustafa,
I need your help.
As you probably already noticed on my blog, I was so frustrated with the result of the left Quarter gallery that I simply took my cutter and removed the whole tinkering...
I need to remake the windows... DO you remember the sizing from them? In mm?
Because on sheet 5 they are not on scale and have doubts regarding the dimensions on the other plans..;
Thx
Marc
I love your method of making copper plating, it looks really nice.I applied matte varnish on the copper plating. The shiny and disturbing image is gone.
