USS Pennsylvania 1837 second build.

There’s an old Navy expression, “A ship is known by the condition of her boats.” Your’s are first class!

USS Pennsylvania 1837. Done. Burned at Gosport Harbor April 1861 to avoid capture by the Confederates. I do not know if there is a finished Models gallery on this forum. If there is I will post better and more photos there.

Congratulations, it's so realistic. I feel like I'm looking at a real ship.

Thank you. I have been following your Constitution build very carefully. I have saved a lot of it for future reference.

I am posting this announcement here in hopes the moderators will know where it should properly go.

As I believe many of you know, I was/am donating my 11 ships to the US Nay museum system. Unfortunately their 2026 budget has already been allotted, and so they may be only able to accept 2 of them. (packing and shipping are crazy from here to Norfolk Virginia). If they can in fact take 2 of them I will not know until sometime in January of 2026. However, I was able to get into contact with a retired navy commander who is excited about donating at least 3 of them to local navy facilities. One is the Navy Jr ROTC program at the high school only 2 blocks from me. Another is the Naval reserve and the other is the ROTC program at the University of Arizona. The Tucson Mini Museum where I had an exhibit in Jan. thru April this year will take 2 of them. The rest I will try to sell at the Arizona State Fair and/or the the Pima County fair. Merry Christmas everyone. And thank you for continuing to like my work.

These are exceptional models! While I’m glad that you are finding homes for them, it’s a shame that the Navy’s not taking them.

Roger
