Vasa 1628 - Billing Boats 1:75 Modified

So, now starting to get somewhere. I drew the keel, stem, stern and frames (bulkheads) up in SolidWorks and mated them together. After checking with 3D curves, I realize that a couple of frames need some minor adjustments, but otherwise no big issues.

As I now have material enough for making new frames, I think I will start cutting them and and make a dry fit to see if it's okay before I take a trip to the museum, guess some further questions will pop up as I go along

Vasa 1628 skala 1:75 update. Finally after many ifs and buts I'm back on track again with my modified Vasa project. First I had the wrong kind of plywood so I had to order new sheets. Second: Got the new sheets, but in wrong thickness, Third: had to go down to Poland again for more work. Fourth: Ordered new plywood again, and my "home built scrollsaw" broke down. Fifth: bought a new scroll saw, and the correct plywood arrived. I have now drawn up all bulkheads in my cad-program, printed them, glued them to the plywood and cut one of the frames out. Twelve more to go and I think this will keep me busy for while now :)

Dear Krister_L,
Happy New Year.
It's a real bummer that my homemade scroll saw broke.
So you're cutting with a new scroll saw now, huh?
That's a really beautiful frame.
I'm really looking forward to seeing the next steps.
Keep up the great work! :D
