VASA 1628 (De Agostini)

Hello everyone,

I am back again. After a severe bacterial infection and subsequent severe flu, despite vaccination, I've lost my motivation to continue working on the model. Sorry for that.
I have fitted the sails of the foremast with the mooring ropes and attached the jib yard with sails. The next step is to attach the yard to the foremast.

Hello everyone,

I've had a go at my boat again and attached the main sail to the foremast. Everything is finished except for the martnets, which will be added later. The same goes for the ropes on the nail banks. They will only be properly tensioned and covered with ropes when everything is ready.

This kit has been a dream-build of mine. I built the plastic Airfix Wasa about 17 years ago and just fell in love with this ship. I use this ship as a case study for project management and describing scope creep. One day I'll make it to Sweden and check the Vasamuseet off my bucket list. Top notch work.
