I was a US Merchant Marine Engineering officer sailing cargi ships. Submariners call us targets. 
It is the common joke that Submariners call surface ships Targets. But I honor and respect ALL SAILORS. We all have a common adversary if we are not careful. So here is to ALL men and women of the sea . . .
