For sure you have made excellent progress on the trimming and the WB, Jan! Better turn that hull upside down and do the shake rattle and roll to try and get those pesky little buggers out from the hull. Once that front wall is in place, they are doomed to haunt the innards of the WB forever.

Yessir. Those pieces are now stuck in the bilges with a note that has my initials and start date of the WB build. A time capsule ROTF

Good morning Jan. Those little buggers gave you a some head scratching….your end result is great. Nice! Cheers Grant
Hi Grant,

Yup, I’m pleased with the outcome of that “Do-Over” marathon. The forward canopy is the focus now, another tricky bit of fiddling to get it into a proper shape.

Ro-Oh, do over time. I once again didn't interpret all the instructions, ie , place to two 1.5 X 6mm pieces and sand into shape.

Referring back to the instructions and photos from @Heinrich's log, my build didn't look quite the same.

That's when the "Aha" moment occurred.

I had placed only one 1.5 X 6mm piece (red circle) and then all of the lattice pieces (red lines).
So... "Re-Do" number ??

Good morning Jan. I do think you have taken the title of redo champion…. ;). Clearly makes for a better ship tho. I don’t envy you with those plummeting temperatures. Cheers Grant

Still looks mighty nice though.

"Re-do" is a synonym for "building a model".

Yes indeed, that is me “Mr. Re-Do”. I think I need a “before you glue it - check the plan - read the instructions again “ reminder hanging on my workshop wall. The bad word jar is history. Our local bank has stopped taking in or disbursing coins.

As with the pesky door saga, this part of the build will be in line with the “four foot” rule when completed.
