With a steady pace, working from mast to mast ........ It's looking nice, Jan.

Ah, a good description of my work pace. Currently my eyesight is iffy, left eye is good, but right eye is problematic. I'm happy with my results, I decided to go with just the standing rigging.

Sorry for the bad contrast, had to take the photo with my old Blackberry phone. iPhone is on the fritz:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Rigging is "DONE". :D

My local critic agrees that the little ship looks great without sails, either furled or full.

One of the last steps is adding the rudder. I have no experience annealing brass. I need to do that to work with the brass piece in the kit to manufacture the hinges. So it's off to learn something new.

A new milestone, Jan. That’s looking very nice and impressive. And after this rigging process you will be able to bend te brass for the rudder.

Hi Grant.

Yup that little ship has had a tumultuous life.

My favorite phones were my Motorola Flip Phone and my last Blackberry ( model 10). Unfortunately technology outpaced their niche in the portable phone market. I thoroughly dislike my iPhone with the messaging, texting and all the bells and whistles. BUT, my family and theirs are all linked together with the Beastie.

I know the feeling, once in the Apple fold everything from family phones to Mac books to entertainment become one big bubble.

When Elon launches the Tesla phone we will have to buy one…AI will just do everything for us ;)…..ahh Tech…

Cheers Grant
