Laszlo, thank you very much for the link! I am impressed with your work. It is indeed the case that medieval shipbuilding is often pushed into the background. That’s why I have decided to design a plan for another ship – the Nef according to the Seal of Sandwich.I put together some years ago a "study" in a similar matter. However, it is not a scientific work, I hope some of you find it interesting. As eugen.t writes it is unfortunately a neglected area and to me, it is hard to understand why-I am not a scholar, but for me, it was a particularly exciting activity. Robert, thank you for your appreciation of our work, it is very much appreciatedI know the quality of the models from Pavel and his team, I have build both the San Bartolome and the Santa Maria. So well engineered and a joy to build. It is amazing how such beauty and be achieved in such difficult circumstanses.
