I read what you encountered, a common issue with Revell
I work (help out in the store) at a local Revell dealer but this brand is not my preference

In addition, there are few good brands on the market in plastic kits, the reason is that the molds at factories are very outdated and many errors occur

Nice to see your solutions, good work and beautiful airbrush work

I am not a real aircraft fan in model building but I regularly watch the Modelshed, more to see his paint and color solutions

A beautiful model with many details and I find it a challenge to show this model openworked as I have done before, and despite his offer to have it come here via the wholesaler with his condition and I declined (Border Models brand)

The decals here are very bad, and no longer available through other channels, in addition the available space here has become an issue

Thank you daju. My display is nothing fancy, just sitting on top of a bookcase in my office. I chose an old wooden recipe box as a pedestal for the skids to rest on.

I'm building the same plane, standing on your shoulders, and contemplating a glass topped shadow box coffee table with a sand diorama....

If a gust of wind found its way into my office, I might be worried. That actually happened to the real original one, wind flipped it over and broke it.

I'm just not worried about my models getting knocked over. If I still had young rough housers running around, then yes it would behoove me to anchor them to a base. .... Having said that I can hear Mr. Murphy laughing at me in the back of my mind.
