Wright Brothers "Flyer" 1903

Good morning all, I'm getting close to the finish line here. I have permantly freed the Flyer from her jig and have installed the rudder system complete with rigging.

I have completed the elevator assembly, here are a few as builts of it.

I will attach this assembly to the front of the plane then lastly fabricate and attach the propellers.
I have yet to decide exactly how to display this but know it have to be done overhead some way.

Good evening to all. After 2 months and 9 days I have a completed Wright Flyer 1903 to display. The first couple of pictures are as builts of the propellers.

The next close in is how I attached the elevator assembly to the skid below. Basically, a splice plate with pins was the only way I saw to securely hold it together.

The rest of the photos are various views of the whole airframe.

I still have to decide where to display this thing so maybe in a few weeks a couple more photos coming out.
