Thanks to all for encouragement. I have assembled masts and am building up various parts of running rigging. Next will decide how to attach shrouds as this ship does not use chain plates. Looks like builders choice in many areas of the rigging. Pictures to follow as I progress.

Just a word:
I am still working on this project, but I am becoming a bit wobbly. With no clear direction in plans as to some rigging issues, I continue to feel my way as best I can. I have contemplated leaving ship with standing rigging only. Or at least rig mizzen and main yards only an furl the foresail and lash it to the deck. Looks like I should have mounted the yards before doing standing rigging. Live and learn I guess.

your log of CAZADOR rigging looks fantastic. Unfortunately I did not see it until I finished my own rigging. I mentally slapped myself and said "snap out of it" I opened up the hole diameter in the blocks with my Dremel, used some Tuff-cord, and began to make progress. This kit is my second build and I am learning as I go. My disappointment is that I am not yet attaining the quality that I desire. I will keep trying.

I am attaching the last pictures of the finished ship. Much of my rigging is not what was on the actual ship, but having done a little real sailboat rigging, I put it where it made sense.
