YQ Bluenose Ted R [COMPLETED]

I am going to build another YQ Bluenose model. I have purchased the kit and once again am anxiously awaiting it's arrival.
This time I got Gene Bodnar's practicum, the Bluenose planset from Model Shipways and LB Jensens Saga of the Great Fushing Schooners. I have been looking for P F Eisner's planset without success. I haven't found it but believe this should be more than sufficient.
On the downside I'm back in the hospital. CAT scan says I have worsening Mycobacterium Kansasaii of possibly lung cancer. So far all indicators are the prior. PET scan tomorrow.
I'm in the VA Hospital in West LA. This hospital along with UCLA, across the street invented both the CAT and PET scans. Not your typical va. In any case prayers would be welcomed. I have7 great expectations for this build.
I've come a long way in my modeling skills and research abilities due to being a member of this premier site.
I just saw @Peter Voogt's Bluenose model listed as the prime example for the world on Bluenose models.

Ted sad to see you back in the hospital. Hopefully the tuberculosis will be sensitive to modern antibiotics. I am glad to see you starting another Bluenose and look forward to your log!

Thanks Rob, fortunately it's a non tubular bacteria. It's well treated by taking massive doses of antibiotics every day. We're talking 18 pills at once n every day for a year. Thankfully I learned through Grok that the pulls cane be split up to three times a day at six pills each leaving the most nauseating one for when you are asleep. When I finish the build I'm going to donate all the research materials to the site foe future buildera.

I gave your post a ‘like’ because of your new purchase of the Bluenose kit, Ted. But sad to read that you are back in hospital. I wish you a speedy recovery and hope for the best care there.

If you ‘report’ you post from above, then you can write there what you want to change. The admin’s will read that.
But I thinks it’s also a good idea to start a new build-log for this new Bluenose build.
For shire I will follow it with great interest.

Greetings Ted. I’m happy for you that you can keep building. To create a new log first go to the Home screen (upper left corner of this page).

Once you are on that page look to the upper right corner and find the box that says Post Thread - click that button.

You will now see a long list of the many forums within SOS. Scroll down and find the one that says: SOS Build Logs From Kits - Wood. Click on that.

At the top of that page you will find a box that says Thread Title. Carefully type in the title of your new log. Proofread your title because only an admin will be able to change it once you save the page. I think you can also write your first post on that page.

In the future if you want to find you new log go to Forums (it’s at the top of the page next to Home). Go to Find Threads then Your Thread. You will find you new log listed there with your old logs. Click on the new log to open it.

Voila!

You're a brave man wanting to re-do a Bluenose build. I considered purchasing another kit and do a "Peter Voogt", but then my courage failed me and I started on the Fokker Spin instead. ;)

Google has you listed as the prime example for a Bluenose model. As far as I know everyone concurs.

Thank you, maybe foolish. I’m sure you remember my struggle the first time. I feel better prepares now.
