PAYMENT AND ORDERING

@donfarr Don - you actually don't even have to check. The freight forwarder (and it seems to be UPS who is carrying out the local distribution in the USA and Canada) will contact you either by text, e-mail or phone call. I would suggest you alert your daughter to a possible phone call. Yours should be VERY close now. I would guess approximately two or three days from now.

@marter1229 Yes, it is! No I have a nice surprise for you!

Seeing that your Bluenose was #003, check out the real Bluenose's racing number on her sails!

Of course the number changed from race to race but this is a great link for the kit. Rich (PT-2)
What is the source of these photos and a book that was previously referenced with the planking photos? RIch

Time for Father Christmas again! :) Exclamation-Mark

Bluenose #14 enters unchartered territory (for her) as she heads off to @sparks Piet Korenbloem. Congratulations, Piet! May she provide you with many hours of pleasure and looking forward to your build log!

ANNOUNCEMENT Exclamation-Mark

This morning FedEx told us that all deliveries to Canada during the Christmas Season , can no longer be delivered within the specified and agreed time frame - neither can they tell us how long it would take. Obviously this is not acceptable at all, so we switched to UPS for our Canadian deliveries. The only downside to that is that it comes at a premium. The all-inclusive kit and shipment price to Canada amounted to 252.60 USD this morning when we had to ship a kit.

I trust that you all understand the situation - it is not much of a difference, but a difference nonetheless and I just thought best to keep everyone in the loop!

Kind regards - Heinrich

I checked the status of my kit today. On Tuesday it was scheduled to be here Friday. I checked UPS today and this is the message it is showing

In Transit

Package is delayed in transit. Delivery will be rescheduled. Check back or signup for UPS My Choice® to receive updates.

So it looks like UPS is also delaying packages to Canada
