Second ever build Havmagen 683 from Billing Boats [COMPLETED BUILD]

Hi @Panteg Models!

Billing Boats saves the provision of a slipway with this design. Before the keel and frames are built, the slipway is built first to ensure a straight keel and even alignement of the frames. Billing Boats takes a simplified approach here, which is sufficient for a neatly aligned assembly given the small size of the fishing boat.

Best regards

I had this too but did not use it very much. Many OcCre models were too big for it, so only for billing.

I can not remember the original name of this Fish cutter, which came on the market about 11960 at at that time there was NO laser cuts and no help more than came with the kit, so I can remember how many build I MADE, AND MOST WENT TO THE BIN. I was only 16 Years at that time, with now 50 years behind me.
there were a few different designs at that time, all alike. the original Boats were all built in Denmark with the same design. I had 5 uncles - EACH ONE A CUTTER LIKE THIS - The main difference between them was on the wheelhouse and decks. depending on the fishing method. the german krabben cutter same design- HG 7 Havornen- sea eagle. the german Krabben cutter same basic design

Not sure , but very little I believe ?
this one is the shortest one- real life -there came a little later a new model -all nearly the same hull - of which my uncles had each one- hg6, hg7, hg 20 and hg120 number plat, then I had two uncles which each one has the cost boot type, Bent. they were all built if wood in Denmark. the difference could be the wheels and the different fishing tools, depending on which type of fish. the cost boot are still in a museum for fishing boat , tools, nets etc

ONLY ONE THINK TO MENTIONED: it is NOT a critic - I know it comes from the instruction manual. Always start down with the keel- 3 to planks. then uo about v2 mm below the deck. again here 3 too 4 planks. it is a good idea to add a helping plank, starting from the middle of the main bulkhead. then let it run. Do not try to twist it. do not glue it set fast with steam, so it can be changed according to the build.
Opwards too downwards, downward upward uo toward
