Good afternoon Gunther. Thank you for you encouragement it is appreciated. I’m assuming you are referring to the tiny dowels I used for my treenail. I use a wooden toothpick (not bamboo which leaves uneven colouring) which I push through a 0.5mm homemade draw plate. The key is not to glue them in but rather push them into the hole. Glue also makes them splotchy. I used polyurethane as a finish and this “glues” them into the plank. Cheers GrantHey Grant,
