Would be afraid the glue is giving way during the milling, but the result is very convincing.

Yep, just pva glue and I clamp the parts betweed two big thick boards during drying
The final pass was done with conical 2-flute bit R0.25mm, 10deg total angle. 0.12mm between passes

very steep learning curve, and to tell you the truth, if you can't draw the thing you want to make, you won't be able to make it with a CNC machine either.

So farm my experience with CNC machines has been limited to simple things that I can make in Freecad. I don't really use anything like Blender.
