Good morning Brian. I know your pain. We get 60% to 100% duties and at an exchange rate of 1:20 it hurts….reasonable $199 then came UK customs and charged £76 import tax so not so good value in the end

Morning guys starting to think about planking but short of some supplies (waiting for the model shop to open)
Made a start on the planking, to hot to be bothered so called it a day.Us Brits are wimps when it comes to hot weather give me cold windy rain 
The instructions say to now fit the deck? doesn't make sense to me. I'm going to finish the hull unless you guys know something I don't?
Indeed it does NOT make sense - I'm becoming resistant to say but, I discuss that in the early pages of my log for this kit. I tossed the instruction
booklet - almost useless..
The museum images of this ship model, of the ones I've seen, all angled the mast inward enough so that the spritsail yard aligned at its center with keel stem.I would like you opinion on whether to run the bowsprit parallel to the keel as per the book or centeralised, I have drilled a pilot hole but nothing is final

Plenty of clearance for the figurehead 6.5cm and lines up nicely with the keel
Have to admit the building slip is one of my better purchases
