The Ocean going rescue tug, HMT Rollcall W81 1920, Built using Caldercraft's Resolve grp hull and plans (much modified).

I don’t know, JJ. I’m not sure how this could have turned out any better!
I think it is just me Paul, looking at the boat sitting infront of me, she looks fine. It's just that I lost a bit of interest in the build and hence did not put my heart into it. I am sure I can do better but that is for next time.

Thank you and kind regards Jack.

All good things, and even some not so good, come to an end. I am pleased to say that, having added a proper stand, HMT Rollcall is now complete. Strangly having come back after a few weeks away I feel happier with the finish, not what I envisaged at the start but OK. in the end.

Congratulations with the finish of this very nice model, Jack. Your view on the model is differently than we do as mere screen-based observers. You have the feel for it, know the ins and outs, and—as you wrote—know what you envisioned at the start. But I see beautiful details, weathering, rigging, and lovely overall lines. My respect that you had the energy to complete this build. Looking forward to the next!
Regards, Peter

Nice considered words Peter thank you. Building models should br fun and it is hard to push yourself if it just becomes a chore but I am glad I stuck at it.

Cheers JJ..

p.s. The water line still looks wobbly in pics. I scratch my head!

Really impressive build JJ, I have to spend some time going back through your log but the finish/ing photos show you are a skillful builder. Great photos too.
Thank you Roger it was quite along build for me and I am pleased she turned out so well. Good of you to look in.

Knd regards JJ..
