Ah, you used the Micro Krystal Klear for those windows, great I have a bottle coming in the mail to replace my old bottle of Micro-Glaze, which I used on my latest build log post for the Montanes. I am anxious to see if the old stuff worked. Ift not it is nice to see that the Krystal Klear does a fine job. Did you use the toothpick method to apply it?

Hey shota70; I received my bottle of Krystal Klear today but it is totally unusable.

It looks like white glue and it will not stick on any wood or metal parts.



It comes out of the bottle like this blob of stuff. Yours showed up in a more liquid condition correct?



This just looks wrong, it is not in a form that I can attach to my model, am I wrong? I have returned this to Amazon, and will have another bottle by Sept 2 I think.

It is indeed supposed to come out in a liquid state, like regular glue. I think you did the right thing by returning it; it was likely expired or defective.

Good evening my dear friends

Last week I have created the storage spaces in the officers' room on the middle deck in the ship.
The storage spaces also served as benches, so effective hinges were required.
First, I created most of the parts, with The laser engraver an emphasis on the covers that also serve as benches, as well as the vertical decorative panels.
Later, I created the decoration of the panels using mf70 and a small chisel. Later, I prepared supports that would connect all the parts into a stable whole and to the ship's hull.
As part of the desire to make it easier for the future observer of the ship to see the internal parts, I only built about 60% of the current containers, and I left the observation hatches in the side open.
I'm Attaching photos of documenting the construction stages as well as the storage compartments + benches, together with the table and benches, which created a pleasing sight for me.

Thank you for your response, just needed a little confirmtion that I wasn't wrong. New bottle is scheduled to arrive from Amazon Thursday 09/03/2026, hopefully it will be in better shape.

Good evening dear friends
In recent weeks I have worked hard on creating the captain's rooms (the first - storage and the second for sleeping).
In the photos I have attached you can see their plan/drawing.
Initially I created the walls of the rooms, 2 at the front including door jambs/frames and two perpendicular to the ship's side when they are of different sizes and at the line of contact with the ship's side the wall corresponds to the slightly arched/digested outline.
It is worth noting that the connections between the four walls are based mainly on rails/recesses and a protrusion that flows into it.
After that I created the captain's mattress and bed by hand.
Later I created the two doors including a transparent window in one of them.
What I liked in the process was the improvement in the quality of the hinges that connect the doors to the frame/jamb.
The most fun for me was seeing how all the parts connect in harmony creating a satisfactory whole.
I would like to emphasize that the final adjustments will not be made because all the rooms will be displayed at the exhibition in Hamburg. Unfortunately, I was unable to bring the entire ship, so I will take prominent parts for the presentation.
I will leave you to be impressed and enjoy the pictures, I hope you like them.
