Next up was the threading of the parral ribs and beads and attaching them to the yards

Assembled all parts for the rudder and attached to the ship

Next up was the installation of all the dummy cannons as well as the deck cannons. Also installed the gun port covers, the grapnel anchor and the two s

Time to start the Running Rigging. First up the Spritsail Yard.

Well My Mary Rose is done. Finished all Rigging today installed the slats for anti boarding nets and rudder chain. That about raps it up except for display case sometime in the future. Had to build this particular ship as it holds some special memories. My wife and I visited Portsmouth many years ago and saw the Mary Rose and Victory at that time. But most of all my mother believed in reincarnation and she firmly believed in a past life she sailed on her. She told me this over and over. She passed about twenty years ago so it’s about time I built her. So this ones dedicated to my Mom. Love Ya. Hope everyone enjoyed seeing this build as much as I did building her. I’ve always wanted to build a Victory but I already have the Corel kit Vasa Or go to totally different direction and do a blue nose Or something else at this point I really don’t know probably won’t start another one till like November
