I just have opened the box and there are buckets of parts wood eight sets of plans one colour book and a full size 1-1 plan.
The first thing to do is I definitely the first five bulkhead's and the bow keel section it shouldn't be hard as there are only two keel sections as apposed to six on the part work one and the next thing done is to angle the first five bulkhead's20191011_134331-1.jpg20191013_132221.jpg20191013_132252.jpg20191013_132317.jpg20191013_132257.jpg20191013_132434.jpg20191013_132618.jpg20191013_132611.jpg20191013_132844.jpg20191013_133408.jpg20191013_134352.jpg20191013_145135.jpg

Time to start the hull planking and as its the longest job I will be at it for a few weeks and to highlight the differences between the part work ship and the full kit both made by Amati the part work one has the centre section as one piece of plywood were as the full kit is all plank's.
The top pic is the full kit and the bottom is the part work one one ship two different construction techniques.SAM_0198.JPGP1040823.JPG

Your planking looks good.As long as everything is solid,a little filler will hide the imperfections.Planking a kit like this is very hard for two reasons. The original had a steel hull so the shapes were never designed with timber planks in mind.Secondly kit manufacturers in the name of economy always supply planks that are wider than ideal to conform to these awkward shapes.

Kind Regards

Nigel
