Hi Kevin, I enjoy watching your videos, and the last one you did on the Capstan was very intricate but interesting. What is also very interesting is the quality of the machinery you use to do these intricate pieces. Great to know you belong to the SOS crew as well.
 
Excellent as usual. I am very hesitant to comment further, but until now I have used the cut out paper plan and stick it on the wood.Simple technique but form the shape using my old Dremel band sander ,coarse 80,for both inner and outer curves. My spiral sander tends to gouge unless used very gently. Your technique means I would have to buy a router. Maybe for my next model.
