New design 29-foot armed Longboat (1854) in scale 1:24 by Piroscaf Scale Models

LOOKS LIKE A ANOTHER WINNER, ANY IDEA WHEN IT WILL BECOME AVAILABLE, AND JIM AND ZOLY NOT BEING IMPATITIENT JUST NEED FOR FUTURE PLANS. GOD BLESS STAY SAFE ALL. DON

All our projects are based on original drawings. We have a good naval archive with a very large number of drawings of ships from the 16th century to the beginning of the 20th century. You can find drawings of russian ironclas and battleships, a lot of artillery. The archive issues copies of drawings only on a paid basis.
Well the archives must make funds somehow to keep things in order. Hopefully not to expensive for good drawings.

ARE THE PLANKS PRE FORMED. GOD BLESS STAY SAFE YOU AND YOURS DON
Agreed that they are hopefully preformed/pre shaped and that the instructions indicate the correct orientation and sequence of placement for each plank. Also, I suspect care will need to be exercised not to allow the glue that is used to glue the planks to the frames to "spill over" and come in contact with the underlying forms.

Yes, you are right. All the necessary appearances will be present in the instructions. The pre formed planks are needed so that the shape of the longboat is preserved after being removed from the slipway.

very accurate planking - they fit very well (symetrie, joints etc.) Thumbsup

You can wax the forms with candle or bees wax to keep accidental glue drops from sticking. of use clear saran wrap or equal for same purpose, both very thin and don't effect shape.
