A Dutch Fluyt in shell first, reconstructing the "Ghost ship" scale 1:36

To prepare for my upcoming camper trip I have already prepared my coming travel carving.
The image is transferred to the boxwood by rubbing off the paper.

After sawing the contours on the scroll saw it is ready to start the carving.
See below already the combination with the two hoekmannen.

Before I start annoying you with pictures of dolphins I made a small compilation of the shell first build in just a few pictures.
Very cool Maarten.
Thx Paul, Oh no just thought it is a nice overview. Maybe it will inspire you to start the same 8-)
I agree. Paul should do one. We have to rummage through 200+ pages of banter, compliments, advice, discussion etc etc to find how he made something. ROTF . I speak from experience looking for his gun ports….Seriously tho Marten, lovely slide show. Cheers Grant

It does have it's perks having a build summary, if not for the masses, it could be quite helpful to yourself or a fellow builder; when trying to find something you know you've read somewhere in a 100+ pages thread....
