Airfix 1:144 Scale Saint Louis c.1626 -The Modification

This is a very sad and important loss to our community.
I think it should be the job of our administrators to get to the bottom of this., even if his reasons are not made public.

Rex is a true gentleman whom I've followed for many years and I'm sure he must have been deeply offended by something to have taken this step.

There are no shreds of evidence, and it is not clear what triggered Broadside (Rex) to substitute all his posts with 'X". He never contacted Admins to report any issues though. I am not sure, nor I can guess his decision.

Try flickr....it's still there.

Mr. Stewart,

I just tripped on this site as well as the Flickr.com site and am amazed at your work! Your attention to detail is simply astounding and your ability to make a plastic model that easily stands with the best found in museums is beyond amazing. You have shown me that which is attainable with practice and patience.

I so miss Rex's modeling posts.
If he still monitors these forums I send him my best wishes.

Funny how we all forget a step and have to work in a tight spot to get it.
