Axel Thorsen 1810 in scale 1/72 build by Dubz Modelling World

I started some smaller parts like the guns. I also added the scuppers. (unfortunately one went to "high" ... hmpf)

It almost goes without saying that some parts were not listed in the instructions or are completely missing. The entire cannon mechanism still needs a lot of attention. I will also try to build the ball bearing (once I have suitable balls).

And don't trust lasered lines ... I got four identical side panels instead of two pairs facing each other... great... deconstruction ...

Not sure about coloring yet but have a tendency to do the gun carriages ochre.

Starting some smaller parts: the guns! Man-O-Man: those 2 are filling the bow and aft! But you are doing a nice job, Dirk.
Regards, Peter

Thank Peter, Pauls and the likes :-) I hope you all have a great Christmas time :-)

The hatch covers in the kit were made from a single piece, and some parts of the large hatch had been laser-cut away, which was not acceptable, so the covers were now made in separate pieces. Additional PE parts were added, as well as the anchor bollards on the deck and a few eye bolts. So, lots of small parts to avoid doing the upper handrail :-D

And another airbrush session, I got admirality colors yellow ochre and sprayed the gun carriages and else. Danish gunboats often used this color so why not a Norwegian Dane boat.

The deckhouse got the glas and the pe parts and more eyebolts were installed.

I love the yellow ochre color, Dirk. A good choice.
Regards, Peter

Thank you Paul! Best wishes for you and your family too.

I like to use micro rivets in that case it were nice, that the holes of the PE parts are fully etched etched and no nail "imitation" etched. :)

I need to convivence "somebody" ;-) next year to do me better 3D printed ones, there is also the ring at the quoin (cascabel) missing ... :-D
