Yes; there was always small archng of the stern, as well as all the decks; none were pancake flat..

A bit late, but, was the round up (rounding) of the decks on French ships similar to that of the English ships? The closest I could find is below.
60 gun English ship 1719
Orlop 2 inches
Lower gun deck 4 inches
Upper gun deck 7 inches
Forecastle 6 inches
Quarter deck 6.25 inches
Round house 8.5 inches

70 gun English ship 1719
Orlop 2 inches
Lower gun deck 4.25 inches
Upper gun deck 7.25 inches
