Hi Jim, maybe you can change your alias also to overworked724.Time...time...time.... you know what I mean, Zoly. But promise to continue!
Hi Jim,Here is a simple CA applicator made in 5 minutes from a sewing needle using a rotary tool and cut-off disk. First, cut the thread insert a quarter from the end, just enough to make an opener. Using the same disk smooth both sides about 45 degrees make it a knife like. That's it! Oh... made a nice handle for comfort!

Happy Modelling!
Thanks, Ted! In spite of the fact that ideas are not mine, I believe that everyone can use them. We learn from each other!Hi Jim,
You've got some brilliant ideas for tools and techniques in your posts - particularly like this one!
Jim,@tedboat Thanks, Ted! looking at your build models gives me a ton of inspirations - a room to strive for!
Oh...Ted and Don, you are so kind! I've got a lot to live up to! I have never build a model from scratch. Something I want to accomplish in the near future and your work is a great inspiration. You don't have to strive for anything - you are already there!
Carving your own, no discussion about that ofcourse. .@schifferlbauer Hi Willi, as promised here is the figurehead, it is not gilded yet, as I don't know if I will use it or try carving my own.
G'day Jim, I think that the figurehead is a Griffin,Thank Willy!! All decorations are came with the kit, except for carvings on haws holes and cathead supported knees (my own carvings try). The figurehead presented but didn't attached yet. Not sure what kind of animal it is I will post later today when i come home from work.
