To be honest I still did not make up my mind on the question. Are you going to plank over the hull with timber strips, or paint ?
Do you have a link by any chance? Tried googling it but only got dating app resultsthin timber planking material, say 1mm thick for easy bending.
Thanks a lot, I'll take a look! (Does it also contain the ship I am working on?)Great job you do! Do you know the basic book:

"Historische Schiffsmodelle" by Wolfram zu Mondfeld? For around €10,- it is yours - very helpfull lecture highly recommend.
Have a nice day. Best wishes from Berlin, Christian
It does work on well done shipmodelling at all - Mondfeld does built several ship models you may have seen in museums in Munich or Berlin. Thanks a lot, I'll take a look! (Does it also contain the ship I am working on?)
Hallo @edrBluebeard suggested that I show my progress on this so here goes.
I want to build a Concorde-class frigate from scratch using mainly cardboard. This will be heavily inspired by this great build log from Ab Hoving.
The plans I am going to use are the ones visible in this planset review, especially this plan.
I printed it and will just use the scale it provides, sorry, did not even calculate it.
I loaded the cross section in gimp and mirrored it for easier use:
As I mentioned in my introduction post progress will be slow as I will probably only work on it on thursday nights, but today was a bank holiday in Germany so I found some extra time to get started![]()
