EFIM NIKONOV 1721 kit Modified: INTERIOR VIEW

I had no idea that such a vessel existed. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, you can buy it at ZHL MODELS. It's very cheap (~50 US $ Plus it was ~$30 for shipping) and produce a lot of satisfaction to built it. It is very detailed. I will highly recommend it. Don't be afraid due to Chinese instructions. They are just a few and can be easily translated with your smart phone. Nevertheless, on my built thread (link is on the 1st posting of this thread) you will find the full instruction/built manual in English.

Best

Hi
I have built this vessel. My build log is on here somewhere. Like the idea of an interior view, so good luck with your project.
Thank you !! If you would like to post a link to your built on this thread, please do it. Nevertheless, I will look for it.

Cheers
Daniel

I never had a problem either. I went onto YouTube too for help.

Please, explain me what Icon you refer too. If it is something I can build/do, it will be my pleasure to add it.
I mean the image of a saint, typical for Orthodox Christianity. In the Russian Imperial Navy, each ship had an icon of her patron saint. For a submarine, it seems logical to me to have been the prophet Jonah :)

Thank you for this image. I am the worst navy historian you can imagine. So I will leave to a few experts of the forum to comment if there could be any possibility that this 1718 sub could have a framed Saint Image.

Thank you again !

@Waldemar This is a very good point you raise. St. Seraphim is recorded as the patron saint of Russia's nuclear weapons, but obviously the time frame for the Nikonov is not correct. St. Nicholas is the patron saint of Russian seafarers so not sure whether that will apply to the non-nuclear submarines as well.

Thank you Heinrich!! As always, you are a wealth of knowledge.
