Fair American 1:48 by Model Expo

Namabiiru! Sounds like Parkinson's Law is in full effect ROTF but, hopefully, not for too much longer.

Blessings.

Hey, everyone! For those few of you still patient/bored enough to still be paying any attention to this thread, I’m still alive, and the pandas took great care of the Fair American. Unfortunately, the new house comes with a honey-do list a mile long, and putting the hobby room in order is somewhere around n+1 on the 1 to n list of priorities.

Saw this coming...we will be patient.

Good morning. How is the new hobby room coming on? Cheers Grant
Grant, thanks for asking! The hobby room has seen zero progress, which I really need to correct since I have some non-hobby-related projects that I need to wrap up soon. Work is taking it’s toll on my free time, as are the invasive plants in the yard that had 20 years to establish themselves before we bought the property and dropped a wad of cash on sod…

Thank you, Günther! I hope you enjoyed your travels.

This past weekend, I was finally able to find some time to start getting the shop in the new house organized. Perhaps soon I will be able to do something productive in it.
hank you so much. Yes, I had a wonderful trip and lots of adventures... It was simply fantastic. With temperatures of -31°C, it really is incredible... Now I know what cold really is....
I’m already looking forward to your projects and photos of your new workshop. Best wishes,
Günther :D Thumbsup

Namabiiru! Thank you for your emojis on my L'Orenoque build! That said, Dude! - can you please get back to work on Fair American!!!! I can't hold my breath much longer!!!!!! ROTF ROTF ROTF

I hope the workshop reorganization is at or very near completion to your specs!

Blessings. Peace. Gratitude.

Chuck! Thank you so much! Yes, I really do need to get back at it. No promises, but maybe next weekend there will be a chance to unbox her and try to figure out where I left off…
Namabiiru! Excellent news! I believe I can hold my breath that much longer ROTF

I hear you on the part where you have to figure out where you left off. When I took a break from Harriet Lane last year to do more home remodeling projects, I had a hell of a time remembering what I wanted to do next. I guess that's an argument for writing down the production plan and checking off the steps you have taken. The steps with no check marks in their boxes are where you left off. I think I'm going to give that a shot;)

Looking forward to your renewed efforts and pictures of the new Namabiiru Model Shipworks!

Blessings.

Ha! My production plan changes moment to moment!

Although I suppose if I wrote it down, it wouldn’t change as much…

Namabiiru! Don't tell me you have the ricochet rabbit disease too! I guess there are so many mini kits in the kit one needs to be flexible or it turns into work. ROTF For me, I find myself making to do lists late in the build to make sure that I have done all of the stuff that should be done before the rigging starts.

Blessings.
