Good morning. I am inclined to agree with you. I think this Xebec would look a little bare without sails……Cheers GrantPlease do it with sails, it would reall be waste of potencial. Some models just need sails and this is one of them![]()

Heller 1/50th. Chebec
These are in 1/49th scale from a Mantua Xebec Sail Set. These seem more of a rustic made set vs, the set above.shipsofscale.com

Have you checked out the size of this model, Johan! Why are you building a POB Xebec when you can build this Requin?
All of a sudden this has become an option as a next build...

A beautiful lady, but with a deadly sting.
All the little details are contributing to a very convincing Xebec.

Good morning and thank you Shota, Ken, Peter and Johan.Wow Grant, you are moving forward fast but also neat and tidy. Love to see the guns rigged properly, but remember, there only 20 in total, 24 in your case.
The rope you use looks excellent!![]()
Good morning Heinrich. Thanks. The feature that made me build her was the way the hull shape and the lateen sails combined make the Xebec look so sexy.Great progress my friend in giving her the teeth that made her so feared. I would also go with sails and I say that because her speed both under oars and sails was her main distinguishing feature.
