HMS Royal William 1719 1:55 by OlegM

Simply gorgeous model! I really like this style. Of course, I am far from this level, but I want to implement something close to this in my model. I would like to make one recommendation. Take a photo on both a black and a light background. Then everyone will definitely be happy))))) But your model will look great even on a pager)) I just finished reviewing your thread again, bravo!

Witaj
Z przyjemnością oglądałem twoje aktualizacje , pięknie wykonany model czekam na zdjęcia. Gratulacje. Pozdrawiam Mirek

It would be great if you attached not photos but as files. Then the images are not compressed and the quality would not be spoiled. I just want to look at such beauty and not be sad that everything is in pixels (If it is not difficult, you can post another post, but as files (attachment).
Or maybe there is a link to the originals. I would just definitely like to add them to the collection))))

Not sure how to attach them as files, I used the regular procedure with Attach - Full image
However, I will store the photos on my Gdrive for some time and will share a link later
Also more photos coming here

Then I'll wait for the link. I really like looking at the originals. The model is just бімба!
I love this style, just like me))

This is by far my favorite ship.
Your work is of impeccable quality, you have remarkable skills and talent, you have taken this ship to another level.
Congratulations, it is a masterpiece! Thumbsup

There are many things about your model to be admired. A short list of the things that jumped out to me:
No belaying pins which is correct for a 1719 English ship of war
Proper knot for the hawser to the anchor ring
Tapered knee of the head
Properly sized ratlines
Wooden rings on top and bottom of the wooldings
Realistic rope versus string
Carvings
Lanterns
Stern and gallery lights
and the list goes on,,,,,,, and on

Congratulations on completing this fantastic model ship.
Everything about it is perfect, the hull is absolutely perfect, the carvings are top notch and the rigging is remarkably good, simply perfect.
A total work of art!

I could spend hours looking at this ship!!! If there is time, desire and opportunity, it would be cool to use a good camera with stabilization to film the entire model in the smallest details and in 4K on YouTube.... it would be divine! These blocks, these knots and connections of the rigging, masts... in a word, my sincere admiration!

I can only echo the sentiments of every post before this one. Your attention to every detail is evident. I appreciate your "artistic eye," especially in your choice and treatment of the woods you use and how they complement each other; it's just incredible.

But hands down, my favorite of all the elements you present on this ship is your work on the masts and rigging. Anyone who has modeled rigging understands the challenges it presents. What you've delivered at this scale and for the complexity of a first-rate ship of the line is mind-boggling. Rope and block scale and the clean execution with the absence of glue; everything looks functional.

You have my admiration, Oleg. You should be very proud of your work and know your build log on this wonderful ship is certainly inspiration for many of us on SoS.

Congratulations!
